Comments (26)A small portion of our Botanical Garden’s Galaxy of Lights display this year. It’s the 25th year this display has been done, all by volunteer efforts. My DH works in the setup crew and I was co-chair this year. It was hard due to C19 restrictions but we worked with the Garden staff to get it done and ensure safety measures were in place for entry and ticket scans, etc. Sorry for multiple photos but I am very proud of our team! This is an example of one of the many animated displays on the 2 mile trail. We do walking nights (including 3 ‘dog nights’ when guests can bring leashed dogs for a $3 fee) for the first 2 weeks and then after Thanksgiving convert to driving nights....See MoreI'll show you mine/you show me yours - Su 1/15/23
Comments (20)The LEGO world map that my husband and I gave each other for Christmas. There are forty squares 4 by 8 inches that are done separately and then joined together. My husband and I did one each every day since Christmas, listening to a travel podcast. Very relaxing. Whew! It all came together. Comments (16)@jrb451 they are regular sized teapots you know six or eight cup teapots! They are hidden throughout the trail. People have just added to it over time. But it does not look junky :-). I love the little kids tea party set up as well. I didn't take a picture of that one though. Comments (19)Nougat wrapped in a wool sweater of mine. He won't sleep on his heated pad right now and I'm not sure why. We sleep in a cold house. He always is cold and tries to climb under my blankets. Then he gets too hot and cold and hot. The wool sweater works the best. Nature sure does mete out its punishment doesn't it....See More
