Not a pro. Folk Victorian?

Looks to me with a little paint and decorative trim it'd be a gingerbread house. Otherwise it looks bungalow/craftsman to me. I really don't know; not a pro.

Whatever it is, it’s adorable. Patricia is right in that your interior is important. But just thinking about getting the outside colors more cohesive would do wonders. All the painted surfaces seem out of sync. Maybe a talented Houzzer can photoshop some not-very-expensive ideas for now. But doing internal remodeling first is where the bulk of your money should go. Don’t we all love cuckoo clocks? If the stucco is in good condition, just leave it. If it is in poor condition, it may need some repair work. The main issue is the color palette which is a bit disconnected. Most quality paint stores offer color folders with suggestions for color combinations. Visit two or three paint stores and look at their exterior color combo suggestions. You may end up with a palette of four or five colors which work nicely on an historic style home. There is a program on HGTV called “Restore” which focuses on late-19th century and early-20th century homes in the Southern California area, including exteriors in several colors. You may get a few ideas by checking out the show online.

What geographic location, roughly? Looks like a wonderful gem to be restored. You can go to City Hall to see if there are copies of the permits when it was built. The architect's name may be on them. THen google the architect. Your local historical society may be helpful. Also check with the church that it was associated with to see if they have old photos or interesting stories about who lived there when.

Sometimes you can scrape off a bit of paint in a sheltered area to see what colors are underneath. I give better than even odds that there are old paint cans in the garage or basement, dating back decades.
