Curtain and blind help

I'm adding curtains and blinds to bedroom windows and need some help. What I have just doesn't look right to me. I'm thinking maybe the blinds should be wood colored instead of white? Any advice would be appreciated. I know that the curtains need to be ironed, and I need to have the rod come out from the wall a couple inches more to clear to outside mount blinds

You should have selected panels to hang from the ceiling and yes wood blinds or shades would be a better call.

IMO the blinds look fine. The curtains appear to be too short.

I would use woven wood roman shades, mounted above the windows. You can raise them up to get maximum sun when you want it, but close it for privacy or light control, and there are many different options for the amount of sunlight they let through.

I think the rod height is fine where it's at. Putting it at the ceiling won't make a difference. The worst part is they're too short. The other thing that stands out to me is, because the wall space is narrow, I'd remove the finials and just let the ends of the rod hit the walls and extend the panels out.

I'm not a fan of mini blinds, but the fact that they're white looks fine.

So as far as the length of curtains go, those are 84". Would I go with the 95" and remove some from the bottom till they are just off the floor?

I think you're going to have to. 1/4" off the floor or just touching the floor is good.
