He FINALLY arrived just before Thanksgiving
Comments (7)Lynne...looks like there will be 'Two' of you who will be thankful on Thanksgiving >> You for finding Mr Turkey, and Mr Turkey... for having a Home for Thanksgiving!! He is cute and has great color to him. With that spoon slot, he might be a 'gravy boat'. Any way you use him, he will look right at home on your table. The leaf dish is very pretty too and the colors match your turkey. I see you put a votive in the gold goblet which is a great idea and looks nice too. I think it will give a nice 'glow' when it's lighted. Your centerpiece came out lovely and looks like it was waiting for the 'accessories' you just brought home. They all work so well together, and will look just perfect on your table. Glad you got your turkey... Happy Thanksgiving! jane...See Morea little Thanksgiving humor...

Comments (52)Scratch my traditional Thanksgiving menu that I posted last week!! I knew that only one of my sons would be home, but now my nephew and brother won't be able to join us and everyone else that I've thought of to ask to join us already has plans. So it will just be the three of us. When you're used to cooking for 12 most years, it's hard to get excited about doing it all for just 3! Especially since we'll have almost the identical menu for Christmas day. My son who's home from college happily agreed that it seemed a little silly to cook a turkey, so I'm going with the flow and changing plans! A local deli has some beautiful stuffed chicken breasts that I've always wanted to try and so that may be the main course. I'll still do some special vegs, dessert and homemade bread. Just not the dressing, gravy, bird etc. Grace...See MoreScrapmasters - NOVEMBER
Comments (34)Nancy, No, haven't heard anything about my machine. My repair guy sent it to Janome and we are waiting to hear whether it is just the drive shaft or the computer that's shot. Hoping it's just the drive shaft as I really love my machine and don't want to have to purchase a new one. I had forgotten that I had mom's old Kenmore. Glad DH said something about it and I could get your block done for you! I hate to be late with anything. Melissa...See More
