Bayer Advanced Disease Control is widely available. Use as soil drench.

Flowers of sulfur is a good fungicide too and could be dusted on leaves (or use as a drench).

I bought a neem spray and applied it under normal lighting for 3 daily applications before returning it to the grow lights.

@Rob Blomquist How are things progressing? The main reason I ask is because neem should avoided on succulent with fuzzy or whitish leaves. I destroyed a Kalanchoe pumila that way. The neem not only discoloured it, it smothered it to death.

There is also little evidence proving neem has anything more than negligible fungicidal qualities. Did they bottle say it treated rust?

I never used neem oil, but most what I read says similar to this:

You can use neem oil to prevent or even kill fungus on your plants. Use neem oil for powdery mildew and other common fungal diseases, including:

•Black spot •Scab •Rust •Leaf spot •Anthracnose •Tip blight

To prevent fungi, spray susceptible plants every seven to 14 days until the fungus is no longer a threat. To kill fungi, spray plants once a week until the fungi clears up, and then spray every two weeks to keep it from coming back. (from Safers)

Neem was recommended by the nursery I went to, and the person I spoke to seemed to be somewhat knowledgable about succulents. She advised 3 daily sprayings keeping the plant out of the lights. So far that hasn't done a darn thing. Based on this discussion I think I will spray until I see a positive effect, or move on.

I have found some internet comments about Rust saying that SERENADE and Bonide® Orchard Spray are good fungicides. Any comments?

I have used Serenade/Rapsody/and another name for years. It was first Serenade, then Bayer bought it. They then put out a natural line of pesticides that they eventually sold the license, I believe it still found in the same shape bottle, but I do not remember the name. Bayer still control the license for the product for agricultural/professional use under the names Serenade and Rapsody, but the name of the product for homeowner eludes me, since I can buy Rapsody. I have found it to be a good fungicide spray, when rotated with another spray. One week spray with Serenade and in two weeks another chemical or natural product. I find that is true for all fungicides. They need to be rotated.

It has been proven it now helps as a soil drench product for root rot, but no where as good as it is as a spray for leaf fungus. I honestly have never used it for rust. I have used it for BS and powdery mildew and root rot, but never for rust.

I honestly would alternate, but first test a small spot on your plant. Unfortunately they have not been tested on succulents, so the bottle will not tell you if it is safe for your particular plant.

I don't know if sulphur or copper are safe on succulents, but they are both very effective treatments of rust.

You do know that no spray will alleviate the damage that has been done. It will only prevent it from spreading.

Serenade and Rapsody are supposed to be very good. Unfortunately in Canada they have clamped down and you require a special pesticide license to buy it now here. The only thing we really have left is sulphur sprays in stores. No rotating fungicides or anything. =(

I got some Rhapsody and have stated with it. I understand it is just an emulsion of BS a enzime similar to BT.

Today it died after being treated with Rhapsody. All the leaves and stem were dry and brittle. It is however the first volley in a battle on fungus, I have a Crassula capetilla that has Puffy White mildew.

Sorry to hear that. Those fuzzy leaf succulents are very sensitive to sprays. I have killed a many, especially with neem. The worst part about the neem is it doesn't die until weeks after you spray it. Something about the pores getting clogged. The plant continued to grow some for a month maybe two before it died. The crazy thing was I sold some of them in the mean time. I feel horrible when I discover a plant i sold was garbage.
