eating grass....

While still setting up my new computer, I needed a picture of THAT day, to see where it would upload to on it's own. This is my older daughter... being herself. LOL

Backyard bunny buddy

I didn't even remember this photo. A couple of days ago I posted the picture of a Ewe and Lamb on the road from our visit to my wife's aunt's place in southern France. Among the pictures taken on that aunt's farm was this rabbit in a cage.

One day at that aunt's house one of the components of lunch was a plate of cooked pieces of meat. I tried to ask what kind of meat it was in my very weak French. She responded "lapin" and offered me the basket of bread. I was dimly remembering that "lapin" is the French word for rabbit, and was trying to decide how I felt about that, when she again said "lapin" and again offered the basket of bread. Then my wife helpfully explained she was saying "le pain" meaning "the bread", and was asking whether I wanted any. :-) In the end, I never did determine what type of meat was being served.

No rabbits here - just a Boyd's Bear wearing a bunny suit.

Neighbors are out of town this week and I'm checking on the cats.

All is well!

I don't have a rabbit will an Emu do?

A pet Emu?
