Hand Forged Wrought Iron Entry Doors - Opinions or Experiences?
Comments (25)Yes! Welcome to the club. The door is a nightmare. When I see homes being build with these doors I almost want to run in and tell people to change the door before it’s too late. Looks good from the street, but a total disaster. Mine gets so hot in the summer, I laugh about it and tell people I grill on it. I had rust stains after only a few years, had to repaint. Get condensation in the winter, but i seal from the inside on super cold days - it helps. Actually in the process of buying some weather proofing for the door now and hope it might help Some more. Good luck!...See MoreBifold door company lets doors 'swing away'
Comments (2)The link MWM provided shows the exact pantry doors we had in our last house. There was no track, top or bottom. Worked very well but it never did perfectly line up when the doors were closed.....one door was always slightly further forward. Drove my slightly OCD self crazy. I don't think ours actually use the Johnson Hardware, so maybe theirs is better at keeping things aligned. If I remember correctly, ours was just hinges. On the frames and in the middle part of the doors....See MoreReviews of Door to Door Company Atlanta or other shaker interior doors
Comments (7)My neighbor near my last house bought all of his interior doors at Menards against his builders wishes. How do I know that? We had the same builder. A few years later most of the doors were coming off the hinges. That was about 2005. Maybe they have improved but I would not take the chance....See Morelove my steel (iron) doors
Comments (8)Can you share the manufacturer of the doors? I was looking at Pinky Iron doors. I would love your thoughts....See MoreCrystalgirl9369
