Just left the counter company ... we were all set on Eco Polar Cap and then saw the Hanstone Specchio White and fell in love. From what I've read here, I was assuming Hanstone should be a little lower vs. Eco, but the slabs are being quoted $895 (120x55) for Eco and $1151 for the Hanstone. Does that jive with that other folks are seeing? I will say that the Specchio White is the most unique color- we wanted something with "sparkle" but not too "chunky" or too "busy" ... while not looking "dirty" and also having some "cooler" tones to mesh with the grey kitchen. Not asking for too much, right? Everything else out there is either too much bling, too busy, too taupe - the Specchio White just nailed everything we wanted. Unfortunately, I think we're in love and will end up paying for it :(

That's the trouble with looking online, you just can't get a good idea of undertones, etc. Chocolatebunny, I don't know if the Antique Pearl is $49, we originally priced out the Cinnamon Spice and that is what it cost. Like I wrote above, I had no idea they come in different classes and prices!! I know granite prices vary greatly because it's a natural stone and varies in quality, but with manufactured, I just thought it's all the same, except different colors, ugh. I'll check today and ask them for a price-list, if they have it. Thanks to all you wonderful people we'll have lots of new color ideas to look at. Am going to have to pick out some paint samples too, I think the paint will need to be matched to the tile as we are painting the adjacent dining room the same color as the kitchen. I really admire people who can match things without a problem. It must be so great to be able to put everything together and have it come out looking fantastic.

Thank you so much for all your comments! The fact that I even had to ask, I now realize, reflects that I am just not in love with it. I needed reassurance the the sparkles would be okay. Instead, I received reassurance that I am not off-base to question the wisdom of installing it in my kitchen! It is almost the right thing -- but not quite. We are aiming for a French Country look (the white & light blue quartz went with our yellow/blue/white/natural maple wood color scheme) -- but that style does not include disco sparkles! Sigh. Back to the counter store I must go...
