Tub decorative molding/ Chair rail molding question
Comments (12)I have to start with the tub apron itself. I don't like anything that has to do with the picture frame molding on the tub apron. I don't get the frame that runs off the right side of the tub apron and behind the side fo the vanity. I understand that the wall continues off behind the vanity. I just don't get the trim layout and the 1-1/2 frames that cover the tub apron. With that in mind, I'd want the frames on the tub's back wall to mimic, or at least try to relate to, the frames on the tub apron. They don't. Not even close. A single large frame on the back wall. 1-1/2 frames on the tub's apron. To keep the frames on the back wall at a minimum I'd want a chair rail on the left and back tub walls and I'd want to paint the chair rail and everything below it white. Good luck with it....See Moremold/stink need opinions please ;o)
Comments (0)ONE PERSON SEEMS TO THINK I HAVE A DISHWASHER LEAK AND THIS COULD VERY WELL BE THE CASE BECAUSE ALTHOUGH THIS IS A NEW DISHWASHER 2 OR 3 YEARS OLD TOP OF THE LINE KITCHENAID I HAVE HAD TO REPLACE ON WARRENTY THE PUMP MOTOR AND MY PLUMBER INITIALY DID NOT CLAMP THE THING DOWN TO MY CABINET SO IT KEPT FALLING FORWARD. HOWEVER AFTER READING THE HISTORY ON THIS POST DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE ANY IDEAS OTHER THAN DISHWASHER ? I HAVE INCLUDED A DESCRIPTION OF THE KITCHEN CONTACT ME FOR MORE INFO. I NEED A GOOD SOLUTION. ONCE AGAIN MY MOLD IS STRANGE JUST FAINT AND WHITE POWDERY. Posted by donnalinglendonnc (mayoressofglendonnc@rtmc.net) on Thu, Dec 28, 06 at 12:35 O'kay I have a problem. First we have a galley style kitchen in an old brick building. I am just trying to figure out what my problem exactly is so any ideas would be helpful. This is a new remodel we have always had cabinets in there these are new, however we have never had a dishwasher. We are having mold under the sink cabinet and in 2 cabinets next to that that is growing on the pots and pans and woodwork. A light powdery kind and a stale scent. These cabinets and this job has only been done about 3 years. Also the cabinet next to the dishwasher seems to have some. Also at one time I had my flatware in a straw holder in the drawer above that and it molded. First ?---Is a dishwasher supposed to be vented in any way ? I am wondering what the heck is going one since this row of cabinets starts with 3 floor cabinets then a sink cabinet then 1 small cabinet and ends with the dishwasher cabinet ? ANY INPUT ON THIS ? These cabinets are also next to an outdoor wall with no linoleum under them just right up to them. HOW ABOUT E-MAILING ME DIRECTLY AT MAYORESSOFGLENDONNC@RTMC.NET WITH SUBJECT TO DONNA THANKS FOR ANY HELP !!! -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Follow-Up Postings: RE: Mold/Stink clip this post email this post what is this? see most clipped and recent clippings Posted by homebound (My Page) on Thu, Dec 28, 06 at 15:22 You have had a leak for some time. Get the D/W disconnected, pulled out and then try to identify the problem. Check all supply lines, not just the drain connections. It might even be one of the D/W connections itself. Some major mold clean-up is in order, and hopefully not much more in other repairs. When you reinstall the dishwasher, get someone who has experience with them. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------...See MoreDecore-ative Specialties cabinet doors - opinions
