No red berries here.

brought inside this morning... as it looked like frost was on my grass, even though it wasn't that cold. I hope to have a few basil leaves to use all winter long.

I just spent 10min. uploading and commenting on photos of berries on my property. When I hit submit I was told I could not. UGH. Here we go again.

I wanted to share a photo of the beautiful blue berries of the Red Twig Dogwood, but birds have eaten every one of them. Also, I have a Little Goblin Winterberry which has orange berries. It had them last Fall when I planted it, but a critter ate the shrub down to 10" from the ground over winter! So no berries this Fall. I got smart and fenced it last week.

Schoolhouse, you sure have a boatload of berries!!! I hope you are making lots of birds very happy. Your bushes are beautiful.

Thank you. Plus they add more color to the already pretty Fall foliage of other plants. The dripping red berries of the Burning Bush and the Barberry did not last long this season. I wonder if this is an indication of a cold winter and the birds are gathering more sources of energy?
