got some kumquats coming

Very nice. Are they meiwa or fukushu? I love to put them in smoothies

John, I make a smoothie for my kids with greens, berries, an apple, etc...when I have kumquats, I throw those in instead of an orange and they really brighten the flavor. My nagami is a great producer so I use those often.

Ok, sounds like a "free-form" smoothie. That will give me the general idea.

Both of my trees are meiwa and the smaller tree is catching up with the older tree in production. Gotta "branch out" with new ways to use them!
