Adura Luxury Tile vs Torlys Cork Floor.
Comments (0)I think I want to install one of the 2 products mentioned in my kitchen and adjoining dining room. They are high traffic, dog, and tracking in sand type areas. They will butt up against oak in hall and oak cabinets. I don't want wood because of the traffic and trying to match. The kitchen currently has old ugly but perfectly fine vinyl and dining room is carpeted. The Torlys cork is the floating type with beveled edges 7.5" x 36" pieces. The tile comes in 6x6, 12x12, and 12x24. I have also ruled out ceramic, too hard, too cold. Has anyone used these products and are happy with them or has any advice for me. Any installation pictures? Thanks so much....See MoreAnnoying tub drain

Comments (12)I'm so sorry for your experience! After all that work of washing them. I recently bought some Ikea curtains (perhaps the same ones you got, but in a different color) and ironed and hung them prior to washing because we had just moved into our house and had guests coming immediately. I figured I'd pull them down and hem them afterward, but would just have them puddle for the short time guests were there. After hanging them I was surprised that the 98 inch length varied by as much as 8 inches, with several panels about 6 inches off the floor, and others just barely grazing it while some puddled. So I'm not sure your panels shrunk unevenly, or if they were just that different to begin with. I took mine back and decided to do something else. I still haven't found panels, but we now have wood shades, and I'll continue looking for the perfect price on lined white linen panels that are at least 99". I'd definitely take at least the one short panel back to Ikea (even if you have to wait since it's not close) and explain that you didn't realize the length difference prior to washing. Good luck! It's so disappointing to have to wait sometimes to finish a project....See MoreLoud, Annoying Fan noise on 36 inch DeLonghi Gas Range?
Comments (1)The AG Jade range that we returned (did a buy-back), in addition to having a number of other issues, also had a loud cooling fan that came on when the oven reached a certain temp. It then didn't shut off until the oven had cooled down to a certain temp. There was no way to manually switch the fan off (or on). Hated that. We purposely got a quiet vent hood, and then ended up with a noisy range/oven. We replaced the Jade with a Wolf AG range. Much quieter fan, and it is equipped with a switch to turn the convection/cooling fan(s) on/off. HTH...See MoreSJ McCarthy
