It's been a while since I've been able to post a photo when starting a thread. But I can post a photo when responding to my own thread. Give it a try.

From my phone I have to post pictures in comments . From my laptop I can post in the original posting.

Yeah, I knew I couldn't post a photo when starting a thread, what I meant to say is that I couldn't post a photo when responding to my own thread. In fact, I then tried posting the photo under the "I'll Show You Mine If You Show....", and a message box came up saying I was not able to post a comment. Altho, I was able to post a comment without a photo in another thread.

I've been having problems posting in general lately.

Still unable to post photos.

Just tried posting a different photo on another thread and it worked (then I deleted it). Houzz just must not like my garden gate wreath photo. lol Plus the reason for so many follow-up posts here is the edit function also doesn't work me. I think I will just take a break. : )

Edit function has been a problem for a long time now. I did see Emily say that they were aware of it and they were working on it. Hopefully they didn't break the picture posting in the process.

I just purchased fabric & fringe to make a table runner....and grapes for my Fall wreath.

I'm able to post photos off my camera card, but not always off my computers hard drive. schoolhouse...would love to see "your" wreath....

Speaking of wreaths and making things, I recently came across this clear glass hurricane with dried corn around it. You could either put a candle inside or some battery-powered "fairy" lights.

Chloebud, thanks for that visual! I have a clear glass vase filled with orange fairy lights. I remembered 3 mini ears of dried corn that I haven't used in years. Just slipped them into the vase. Perfect!

I love all of these Fall wreaths! In fact, I'd have one for each season. But my front door will not accommodate a hanger in the center, meaning I can't close my door completely. However, when I slide my hanger to either the right or left of center, the door will close properly, but the wreath would be off center, lol.

nicole, the one you have for your wreath would probably work great, since the 2 over the door pieces are off center, but I've never found one like that. Would you mind sharing where that kind are sold?

Andie, great! :-) I LOVE those fairy lights and have a huge supply of them. The instructions for the dried corn say to glue the corn to the hurricane. My thought was to try and secure them with a large/hefty rubber band, then cover it with the ribbon. That way you could use the hurricane in other ways.

amicus, have you tried any of the Command wreath hooks? They work great...as long as you follow the weight limit instructions. They come in various finishes. I use this brushed nickel one on our front door. Our door hardware is also brushed nickel, but any wreath I use actually covers the entire hook. This one holds up to 5 pounds.

I solve that problem by hanging the wreath with ribbon and fastening it to the top of the top rail with a flat head thumbtack.

The command hooks that chloebud suggests are what I have used for my wreaths for years--in a couple different homes. Never had a hook come loose, yet they are easy to remove when needed.

Those Command hooks are handy for so many things.

I didn't need a new wreath, but I painted a fall picture on slate and I hang it next to my front door. I have a Halloween painted slate presently hanging in the spot and I will hang this back up after Halloween.

For some reason It wouldn't let me post them both together.
