SpinCrazy25, both my DH and I are tall (I'm 5'10" & DH is 6'5") and we find a MW drawer (not a regular MW mounted under the counter) to be very easy to use. However, it's up to you. I was also attempting to find a way to keep your main/cleanup sink out of the island or peninsula to avoid splashing your visitors. It looks like you have a 12" overhang in the island version and that is not enough to protect visitors from being splashed (regardless of counter height). The peninsula looks like it has a deeper overhang, but I wasn't sure. To me, the current island plan seems very limited in counterspace...the only real workspace is on either side of the range. The island does not have enough room to function as both a prep area and cleanup area...which it will have to function as since it's the only water source in the kitchen. (Whether you "plan" to use it as a prep area or not, it will end up being used that way b/c the sink is there.) My old kitchen had limited room around the sink and it was a royal pain to try to prep around it while someone else was at the sink (cleaning up, getting water, washing hands, etc.). I had 24" on one side & 30" on the other...more than you have proposed...and I am so glad we now have more room! The island will also most likely be the landing space for the pantry... Additionally, the sink doesn't have much "wiggle" room around it (especially the non-DW side) to help keep dishes from falling off the ends. In this situation, I'd like to see at least 36" on each side of the sink. Or, alternately, you could put a 6" wall on each side of the sink to corral items around the sink...but that would take even more space away from the work area in the cleanup zone. I really think the island as it is right now is too small for all the tasks it will be asked to do! * Cleanup area * Prep area * Landing space for pantry * Visiting/eating

I was never a fan of slider doors and agree that going back with a swinging door is best. Two 36" doors would be my first choice. If swinging at either end won't work,one can be swung from center. Alternatly,you can install two fixed plus one swinging door. You can choose single pane glass with or without deviders in 1-2 or all three positions. Two 24" slabs fixed at each end plus one pre-hung 32" hinged at center position equal's 80" of door,leaving 16" for jambs and trim. The configurations are endless if you hire a good carpenter.

Doors designed for stick built houses are about 2" thicker than mobile home doors. I have installed house doors in mobile homes, but the frames will be wider than the walls by about 2". And new rough framing for the door has to be built. Will be quite expensive.

There all gone take a “little“ muscle , mostly just to get them rolling. I’d be just as cautious with getting one with a lower sill height and an installer that will take the time to mint so the sill height is as low as possible. They do make powered openers but I am not familiar with them.
