Comments (8)I think Duchesse de Brabant should do well for you. Some people can't detect fragrance from many of the teas, but Duchesse de Brabant seems to me to have something in its fragrance beyond just a tea scent. The blooms are not huge, but not tiny, and there are lots of them and they did not have the problems with balling that several others of my teas had. I really like Baronne Henriette de Snoy, which had huge blooms, and I loved the fragrance, but I think you really need to be sensitive to the tea fragrance to be able to smell it. If you like your pimps, the you might want to check out Stanwell Perpetual, which has great fragrance and repeats, but is very thorny and can get quite big. The source for the one I grew was Antique Rose Emporium. Rosa Primula blooms very early in the spring only, so again if you like your pimps you might like this one. Very pretty soft yellow blooms that I think come just after forsythia stops blooming. I drove by the one I had in my old garden recently and it looked very healthy, with upright, angular, and thorny growth. The foliage is supposed to be fragrant, but while I had mine I could not detect it. Morning Has Broken is doing quite well in a friend's garden--it is lucky if it gets fertilized once a year and watered very sporadically. Definitely not sprayed, but fragrance is only mild....See MorePlease give me opinion on Kitchen/request for Photoshop help(PIC)
Comments (8)I'd be happy to add more, I guess I'm just confused about what's wanted. I don't see a thing about countertops, and I'm not understanding what part(s) of the island would be walnut/black. * painting them off-white * adding dark knobs/pulls * installing a dark granite, tumbled backsplash * stainless appliances (all done) * we would paint or stain that dark brown (like walnut) or black. So... would the whole thing be dark? Or just the parts that are, in your original picture, cream? Would the part that's painted be dark too? I know you said you don't have the same legroom, but I'm unsure of the materials change as well....See MoreSucculent hanging baskets repotted. Opinion requested ....

Comments (27)I appreciate those who have stuck with me though this ordeal. I’m happy to report that the shower is done and I hope to never have to revisit this in my lifetime. I’ll let the next owner deal with tearing it out (that would make 3 times) and renovating to their taste. From this experience I’ve learned that my DH thinks I’m much too picky. Last week it got to the point that he was mad at the world and I was unfortunately the one who took the brunt of it. As I feared, he ended up in the hospital with chest pains and sky rocketing BP. I honestly think those 3 days took more out of me than when he had by-pass surgery while we were building this house. Wine is my friends. Grouting happened on Thursday and caulking on Friday. Plumber came Monday along with the painter. Today the shower doors were installed. I’m disappointed that I didn’t get my frameless door, but this is better than a shower curtain and more than half the price of the door I wanted. I’ll probably never take a shower or bath in this BR, so I’m okay with the result. And more importantly, DH is happy with the finished product. So I promised photos. Certainly not Houzz worthy, but it works. DS will be happy to have his BR back...See MorePeppapoodle
