Best Floor for a Laundry Room?

My House

We were set to use HD's "LIFEPROOF" LVP in the Laundry Mudroom, Doggie Room project, UNTIL I found the brand name to be is a misnomer, according to the reviews I've read on HomeDepot (Canada site). We live in snow country and our tile floors get so cold in the winter. We were thinking wood-look luxury vinyl plank, but now we don't know what to do for the floor,

Hoping to find a wood look that won't be chaotic patchwork or lots of knots. "Peaceful Driftwood" would be the best way to describe it.

Summary of LIFEPROOF LVP Reviews: BUYER BEWARE

1) Brittle- rubber locks break easily- upon removing from the box, said many contractor reviews.

2) Scratches- Heavy appliances will scratch the floor (not good for laundry or kitchens) and HD rep suggested to keep the animals' an clipped (cat and border collie scratched the floor)

3) Hard to clean- The textured surface traps gunk and dirt that requires cleaning on hands and knees.

4) Little variation- "opened 16 boxes and only 4 patterns exist"

5) If need to remove floor, the locks break

6) A new saw blade was used and pieces of lamination flaked from the boards.
