I'm afraid there are at least four different plants in that clump and it's very difficult to see the details. One if them looks like mouse ear chickweed, Cerastium vulgatum. There is another plant with toothed leaves but it's all tangled up with the others and the flower buds are at the back and impossible to make out. Can you separate the clump out and provide a larger picture?

What are you considering "the weed" in the picture. Is it the broadleaf plant or the yellow tipped grassy plant? The yellow tipped grass looks like the seed head on buffalo grass to me. If you are watering daily, stop that. Watering too frequently will turn a lawn yellow. Here's a picture from morpheuspa of his Kentucky bluegrass lawn versus the other KBG lawns in his neighborhood. He watered his once a week while the others watered every day. If you are currently watering every day, you'll have to wean it off of frequent watering to get up to deep and infrequent watering. I'll give you the deets on that if you want or you could look for 'deep and infrequent' in this forum.

Yes, it's fungal, not a weed. Looks very similar to "Dollar Spot", and there are treatments if you research that. "Dollar spot is one of the most economically important turfgrass diseases. In Wisconsin, golf course superintendents typically spend 60–75% of their chemical budgets spraying for dollar spot.[8] The disease affects the majority of turfgrass species, and is active under a wide range of temperatures. Dollar spot is the most common turfgrass disease in North America, with the exception of the Pacific Northwestern United States and Western Canada.[9]" Dollar Spot

Could be.... second photo is from too far a distance to be positive. Most broadleaved lawn weed killers will address this. Or you can always manually remove.
