Need help deciding what colour our house should be.
Comments (30)My Dad took this pic of the fires across the lake from his cabin last week. The area is mostly evacuated now. There are so many fires burning. We took the kids and stayed in West Edmonton mall for six days to escape the smoke and it was even Smokey there. I feel so bad for all those whom have had to leave their homes :(...See MoreHelp decide colors for house makeover. Painters coming NEXT week!
Comments (54)Please do not apologize for all the posts parker_31! They are so helpful!!! Of the paint samples I tried on poster board, we like SW Oyster Bay and Magnetic Gray the best --- but I'm not sure if either are exactly right. I see what you, raee_gw zone 5b-6a Ohio, are saying about the trim not necessarily being white because it's not very prominent. However, that is one thing we originally thought made our house more interesting :) since we don't have brick or stone. If we go with a more monotone scheme, I definitely like going lighter with trim... Oh man, all these suggestions are great! Still think I might keep the white triangle which is a big switch for me (I just don't know!) :)...See MoreHelp picking colors for house exterior.
Comments (10)An expert paint person at the major paint stores can match your cream trim color with a paint to unify the trim with the aluminum parts. Match the downspouts to the color they lie against. This is just a little shed but the red and cream with a blue front door could be cute on your house. New landscaping will be the biggest change you can make aside from painting. Notice the red fence that matches the house color and the cream porch railing on the front....See MoreHelp with color for house trim !!
Comments (0)We need to replace all of the fascia board around our house since it is rotting. Since we have to change it we wanted to lighten up the house. Any suggestions for a different color ? The siding is light grey...another more expensive though is to paint the siding too but if we can avoid that I'd like too...See Moreamylou321
