Was I Dreaming or Did I Really Hear This on the News?

I was half listening and then my brain said "Huh??" Did a woman actually go to the ER for what she thought was gall bladder pain and wound up having triplets?? I looked all over the internet and didn't see it. She didn't know she was pregnant?? I just don't know how this could possibly happen.

That must be one of those shows on TLC - a station that might as well not even exist on my dial. Back in the beginning they actually had some good shows on that channel but that was back in the dark ages.

I have been here for a LONG time,lol I just rarely post! Yes, only certain solutions/wipes are effective against the noro virus. You can google to find the results. I can't recall the wipes we bought! I found a few on Amazon Why do some people get sick and other don't? Better immune systems--some take better care of themselves--and wash their hands properly. I'm a RN and watch people wash their hands--many just get their hands wet, little soap, lather for like 3 seconds and done! You need to really lather up and work it,lol And keep ur hands away from ur face!! When walking up and down the stairs, if possible don't touch the rails----and for sure then don't touch ur face!! Even doing it al properly won't totally eliminate the risks, but will sure help out!

On Thursday, my husband just had major surgery to remove his cancerous kidney. On Friday night, I had a dream about my frantic post on GW about how my marble countertop company installed my white marble countertop in 4, yes 4 smaller broken pieces), and one of the pieces was a completely different stone (reddish granite) with awful huge 0.5 inch seams. When I told my husband about my dream, he responded that I was obsessed with Gardenweb and my kitchen. I see it as that I was so relieved of the great news of my husband's successful surgery that I could go back to my "normal" way of life - to go on continuing with my TKO. Not sure where I'm going w/ this post. Lack of sleep (round the clock monitoring my husband's progress and reminding him to take his pills every 3 hours). Amanda

I don't like a round cutting board because anything you are chopping falls off of it so easily. Since you said you already have cutting boards, and this one is cracking, and brown stuff is coming off of it, I would "de-clutter" and dispose of it. If your husband would be upset at this, surprise him with a lovely new (rectangular) cutting board. By the way, I don't have a bit of a problem with an out of town team being booed on the road and I'm sure the players don't either. It's expected and it's not mean spirited by the majority of the fans. It's really an extension of cheering for your own team. I can understand one baby but come on! Three babies and you didnt feel anything?????? Do you know how big she had to get to have triplets? Wow.

I cannot imagine being that out of touch with your own body that you do not notice the changes that occur during pregnancy.

FWIW, I didn't find out I was pregnant until I was about 18 weeks along. I had been trying to gain weight and was very happy that my diet seemed to be working, and I was on birth control pills(which obviously failed due to user error), so never noticed a lack of menstruation. I was also in my 20s, so not very savvy either.

Thank goodness my son was born healthy!

P.S. My cousin found she was pretty far along in her pregnancy at age 42. She believed she was no longer fertile and possibly had cancer. How many other late 'surprise' pregnancies have happened like that?

Women who have POS often have irregular periods and find it hard to conceive. It also affects your hormones and many women with it gain weight easily. Since the weight is often put on early in life many women who have this are fat and there seems to be a body type that is common among women who have this problem. Depending on her age any discomfort could be considered gallbladder problems or just because she was fat. I have not seen a picture of her but it seems to go with this problem.

I once had a neighbor who was very obese. She never knew when she was pregnant as her periods were highly irregular and she was already huge. She had 4 children and was bout 5-6 months pregnant with each before figuring it out. She really wasn't stupid - just a bit clueless.

I worked in a ED. It happened several time. We had one baby born in the waiting room toilet. Usually young, first pregnancy and winter time. Sweats hide a lot. Some thought they were gaining weight.
Some mentally convinced themselves that they are not pregnant. Some still denied they had a baby even after delivery. Surprisingly all the babies were born healthy.

The look on the girl's parents faces after given the dx was priceless.
