Comments (16)A pop-up concert in Burnaby BC yesterday. There were two hours of lovely free music with wonderful singers and their excellent accompanying musicians. Today's concert will also be interesting with violinists and tuba players. Looking forward to it. I am really enjoying these events that are all over Tri-Cities and Metro Vancouver. Comments (20)The Johnson Wax building in Racine WI, built by Frank Lloyd: This is the infamous building buildt on golf tee shaped supports. Before building it he had to prove that these supports could hold the weight of the structure. Turns out they held many times over what was needed. Comments (15)A ride in the woods with friends from two different stables. It was one of the most fun times I ever had on horseback. There were about 20 of us. 6 years agoNo orchids here either. I am kicking myself. The cruise ship was full of all sorts of orchids and I took no pictures of them!!! But here is a picture of the State flower!!
