Comments (2)I saw this Hanging Lantern in person (The weathered patina finish)just today. It is quite large, and a deep brown red color. I really was impressed with it. You could consider it....See Moreplease help me with my entry!
Comments (5)Have you considered turning the table and lamp so they sit against the other wall, along the staircase, lamp on the left end so that it fits under the tallest part of the staircase. Then, get a tall framed wall mirror for the wall where the table is now. The mirror will multiply the light from the lamp, too. Perhaps something like this? cathedral mirror If that is way out of your budget, consider a simple black framed door mirror that you can get for very little money. Once it is hung on the wall, it will be fine. If you don't care about having a mirror, you could do the same move with the table and lamp, and then run a series of framed art vertically on the wall to the left. A series of botanical prints could be nice. Or, a collection of smaller framed mirrors could also work. Love your pretty floor!...See MoreHelp decorate my 'dual' entry please!
Comments (11)I would get a 4'x6' or 5'x7' and run it horizontally in front of door and then get a long co-ordinating runner to run lengthwise down the hall. How many feet would that be? I would probably end before the stub out past the stairway and you will want some space between the two rugs. I would definitely go with some pattern and color, for interest, as well as not showing footprints/soil, etc. A nice bench on wall in front of stairway would be nice. I really can't see the area the foyer encompasses. edited-I just saw the first picture of the foyer. it doesn't look like there is any place to put anything there, unless I'm missing something....See MorePlease help with coordinating lights for dining and entry!
Comments (12)Those kitchen lights are nice! Thanks for sharing--gives me an idea of your style (mid-century for sure) and finish (nickel). With that in mind, here are some ideas for your dining room and/or entry that will look cohesive.
