American Leather vs Campio Group Legacy Leather Sectional
Comments (12)We have two W.Schillig leather sectionals. Both were made in their factory in China. We got both styles in the same black, semi-aniline/protected leather grade (76 or 77?), with matching-color stitching (no charge for contrasting stitching). The first sectional had a few issues on delivery; chipped feet, packing creases, a smudge of something in one small spot, and it exhibited "pocketing" in/on one section of seat cushion. We were very upset, and initially wanted a replacement, but allowed the store to send out a professional to do his "magic"--he "ironed" out the packing creases (which continued to smooth out during use), removed the smudge, and had the store order new feet. The pocketing resolved itself as the foam regained its shape and resiliency (from the wrapping, shipping....). We ordered our second sectional from a different store (because of a terrific sale event at that store the time). We were (and continue to be) happy with the first sectional after the "repairs" were completed, so felt comfortable ordering a second W.Schillig sectional. This particular store (out-of-state) actually has items come to their store or warehouse first, to be checked over before they are delivered to the customers. This sectional arrived in perfect condition. The couch is beautiful, and super-comfy (this one is in our family room)....See MoreSectional Sofas...a good idea? or don't go there?
Comments (39)Just to update, we finally ordered a sectional from Century. It is L shaped with a loveseat on one wall and a sofa length on the other. The good thing is that it is 43" deep so it should be very comfortable to lay on. We chose a chenille type fabric in a greenish tone. We started the room's decor off by picking 2 oriental rugs and pulling colors from that. The sofa comes with 7 throw pillows, so I chose 2 different fabrics for 4 of those. We'll see if it works or not when it comes in! On another note, once we started to choose decor, we realized the color on the walls was pukey and we had to get the painters back to change from blue to brown. I'm so glad we did that. It really warms up a basement room with no windows. The lighting is what made color selection so tricky. Also in there, we got a leather recliner from Hancock & Moore. And the really neat looking Wisteria Barn door coffee table. Funny thing is that when it arrived, it really did smell like a...barn door! Fortunately that smell has disapated....See Moreleather sectional vs.fabric
Comments (0)we are in the midst of choosing a sectional for our family room. We have a colonial home with classic furnishings. However, we are going to redo our Kichen which is attached to the family room. I want to keep the sectional sleek and modern without getting to far away from classic in other words I like transitional or eclectic style. Just wondering how do you choose a sofa/ sectional fabric for a family room? I want durablitliy given I have a teenage son and we are looking to add a small dog to our family....See MorePic of large sofa sectional that has leather mixed with fabric pieces
Comments (1)In my head this would just look weird and I have no idea why you would mix leather , which lasts a really long time, with something that will wear out Just get a good leather sofa and add a couple of pillows for texture....See MoreRelated Professionals
