Hi Guys, Thanks for replying. Actually not even using it as a Spa. Its just a water body kind of thing for us. My bungalow is very small and hence we couldn't afford any more space for a pool even if we wanted to. So this pool (or water body as id like to call it) is only for visual appeal. Its located outdoor and is open to the sky and direct sunlight on it for about 4 hours. Secondly, im in India. Nobody here heats a pool at least as far as i know. We have only burning summers & other times summer. There is no actual winter in my country, at least in my state, as the temperature in winter is only as low as 23degree centigrade. That's our winter. We have gone with a combo filter from EMAUX POOLS brand. It comes with a .2hp pump and a sand filter matched for it by the company itself. This is ideal since i intend to run the pump on solar power (owing to abundant summer sunlight more than id like to have) and the pump shouldn't have a huge start-up power draw. Usually motors take about 3-4 times their rated power when they start ? Hence this small pump was preffered and they said its about 8000 ltrs per hour capacity. My pool has 6000 ltrs in it. I also heard the cartridge filters are very sticky and dont wash or hose out easily. Apart from this the pool company only advised us to use chlorine granules and brush the pool daily (or even alternate days, since its very minimally used). The location of the home is in the city outskirts so not much of dust and no trees around. Its located in the middle of a 20 acre grass land. What else will i need to do to maintain this pool on daily basis ? Thanks

After one minute of searching Google (i.e. not an expert),: SL is a time-delay (slow blow?) fuse made for circuits with motors and solenoids. Likely something else is on that circuit like an air conditioner, refrigerator etc. Unless it was just stuck in there and an SL type was not needed. A fuse wouldn't blow from a light bulb so something else is going on which suggests maybe other stuff on that circuit. You might check to see what else is without power. An old house would not likely have a circuit with just one bulb and a 15A fuse. If so, I think you are OK to use it. The stamp on the bottom is probably the manufacturer.

If you are referring to the overflow pipe when you say "16 inches", that could vary by manufacturer and tub model. According to some the standard height for tub valves is 28" above the floor with the spout being located below that. Install the shower switch valve at the same height as the tub valves as shown HERE. The shower head should be 72-78 inches above the floor. All of this can vary depending on the height of the user, or personal preference and aesthetics. Valves for a shower only are set at 48 inches above the floor.

Replacing windows does not mean you are getting inserts or full framed /nail fin windows. There are few different methods of instaliing windows,which is best for You depends on different factors. It is important to understand what you are getting and to have it all in writing. A good will explain things in detail followed up with a written contract that states what they explained.
