BM white dove vs SW alabaster
Comments (5)We have samples of these on our house right now. Alabaster is in the left and White Dove is on The right (all under the right window). The paint swatches look similar but IMO they cool completely different when painted. Alabaster looks more like a true white and White Dove has more of a creamy undertone. I preferred White Dove when the sun was directly on the house but when I went back throughout the day, I definitely liked Alabaster the best. My recommendation would be to get samples of both and paint large samples to be able to compare....See Morewhite exterior paint - SW snowbound vs Alabaster vs Oyster White
Comments (8)I know this is an older post but if this can help you or someone . . . ..Of the three colors mentioned, Oyster White will give you the look you're after and will look good in bright light and in more dull blue light during winter also. It would look good with Iron Ore and with a more black paint from SW such as Black Magic or Tricorn Black. Alabaster on an exterior can look great but it's much brighter than Oyster White. Snowbound, while one of my personal faves, can have some funny pink undertones at times. As always, test test test! Natural lighting and reflections from trees/ water/ other houses will affect a paint's appearance....See MoreWhat warm white do I use in this open space? Alabaster vs Greek Villa?
