I would go with recessed or flush mount. Less to worry about than having a fixture hanging down more of a chance to get broken. I think recessed would look better anyway. Cute little house by the way.

Is this a house you rent, or one you rent out? If one you rent, landlord would make that decision. If you own and are renting out, then, I would go for the fans, rather than the lights. It gets hot sitting on a porch, and your porch looks like a nice place to sit in the mornings and evenings, and I would want the fans, with a light on them. I have a fan, in my carport sitting area, and it makes a big difference in being able to sit outside, or having to stay inside some days. This one is from Lowes.

Recessed would be hard to put here since you probably have boxes there. Laterns or some other flush mount would work best.
