Well, i'd jump thru hoops tp buy the older Wheel-horse! That cub will never be the tractor the WH is. Somewhere, way back in time, the Cub was a good machine, but all i hear now about them is that they are just another MTD type machine, and they are going by the name, and their past prestige. I have a Model 1015. It still runs well, altho the mower deck is not in good shape, but you would have to know the people who had it before me to understand about the deck. Lack of care, and poor maintenance is the main problem. I was given a Toro-Wheel horse around five years ago. Didn't really need it, so i sold it to a neighbor. Last summer, he told me to take it home, so i did. And sold it again. Then i was given another one, which i fixed up, and now i use it around here for a cart hauler, and occasional mowing. The tractor is at least 15 years old, maybe more. Some of the recent CC's haven't been holding up very well-so think about it!

This weekend we found an older model Advantium wall oven (240) for $50 at the Habitat Restore. Manufactured 8/2005, it's kind of grimy on the outside, but looks pristine on the inside, and we think it was never installed. But it's not convection - just speedcook and microwave. We'd been planning on getting a new Profile convection microwave to use as a second oven (using a great multi app. GE Profile rebate coming up) but now don't know if the Advantium would work instead, or maybe even better? I just don't get, yet, the differences in how these appliances work, and how they balance out, esp. without the convection in the Advantium. I mostly wanted the 2nd smaller oven for cooking up just a few cookies at a time or a pan of brownies, lunch pizzas, casseroles, and some small roasts, plus microwave chores - I'm just cooking for two most of the time. Experiences or advice, anyone?

I, have the Profile convection oven. Great for the holiday's. and for every day use. I, use it a lot living in Arizona, not wanting to heat the house in the summer. It work's really well. It get's lot's of use. I, think the Advantium, cook's thing's faster. You, could go on the GE web site and compare them, or call GE and ask.

In my neck of the woods it's 95 daily with feel like temps in the 100's. gas n go? or temporary charge until work can be done? AC Service is getting the system going again. No AC business would stay in business for long by not keeping their customers comfortable and cooling. Refrigerant leaks have always been a problem, don't kid yourself. With that said, a refrigerant leak must be repaired and because any coil made within the past 10-15 years is not worth repairing (mostly due to formicary corrosion). If the leak is in the E-coil (indoor coil) the coil must be replaced, otherwise the repair will not last. Outdoor coils are much more costly to replace and if the unit in question is out of warranty it is often times better to replace the outdoor condenser. It greatly depends on where the leak is. Formicary corrosion consists of an ants nest like corrosion where thousands upon thousands of tiny holes are eaten away from the copper tubes of the coil that carry the refrigerant (whether it's R22 or R410a or any other refrigerant is irrelevant).
