I went to a yard sale a church was having and picked up the final book of the Outlander series for a buck. "Go tell the Bees that I am Gone" and 2 jigsaw puzzles. Both 1,000 pce as usual. These will definitely keep me out of trouble!

At a mega car cruise yesterday, at least 500 cars there but this got most of the attention....WHY??? Edited to add that the actual count of vehicles at this cruise was 1003.

Volunteer Honeynut squash, which started in the middle of my sweet potatoes. Now that the sweet potatoes are gone the squash has taken over the bed. I ate a couple babies/blossums yesterday because they aren't going to make it before the first frost. The leaves are huge. Honeynut is a hybrid but the little squash that's almost ready to pick looks just like a Honeynut from the original seed. Will be interesting to see how it tastes.
