Some ideas

Following! I have a very similar floor plan and am tackling window treatments now... art next!

The chandelier looks too small for the space and hung a bit too high. Add lenght and width of room and convert to inches for the correct size.

I like celerygirl’s inspiration photo with the two pictures.

Another suggestion is to add a large media piece on that wall.

If you have a gallery wall you can't hang everything at eye level, and high spaces like this to some extent have their own rules. In this room you could start at the level of the TV and go up from there. It's a nice space and I wouldn't put generic prints or anything that isn't individual and dramatic on the walls. The art could take this very nice but rather impersonal space to a whole other level. It's also a great way to add more color to this room, especially the warm colors that are lacking in the decor. A room with only cool and/or neutral colors lacks dimension and depth.

I wouldn't hang art on the overhang in the first shot. I can see the temptation near the TV, but I'd almost rather see a tall narrow bookcase on one side, a plant on the other, and leaving the heights for the eye to travel restfully. I'm with those who favor decorating down at human level unless you have really huge art pieces (and maybe even then)...

This is a beautiful room. A couple of stellar pieces of art will do here.

I probably wouldn't put anything on the high wall, but if I did, I'd do a gallery.

I'm think your chandelier is a bit undersized for the room.

I extended and centered your TV unit so that wall decor of some type could be centered above it.

You could mount a mirror on top of a mirror over the fireplace to take up some wall space.
