I have too many. I wish I could pull my hair and make it longer, or cut it off the next day, followed by pulling it out the length I want two days later... There was a doll that did this. Or change the color of my hair day to day. Or a house that was like the tardis that was infinite on the inside but had a small carbon foot print on the outside. So I could house a huge wardrobe for fun. Or help homeless people find a place to live.

I can think of too many things!

A cortisone injection that could be given in one spot and it would automatically go to all the joints that need it. I get a shot in each shoulder about once a year, because my shoulders are the worse, but would be nice if it would spread to my back, too.

A food duplicator that uses the sun or frozen tundra as as its resources, making free food to those in the desert and other hard to reach places.

A powder to sprinkle on food so it would have no calories. Or a weight loss pill that really worked and did not have adverse side effects.

A transporter/teleporter so I could travel to any place instantly. Also, count me in on a weight losing/baldness overcoming/pain reducing drug with no side effects.

An electronic shield to put around your house to keep birds off, predators away from my pets and secure your home from break-ins as well as hail damage. I'm asking a LOT...huh...

A way to hook up a vacuum to the door of the house that would suck out all the dirt and dust but leave all the items inside intact. I hate to vacuum!

Better yet, just eliminate them from everywhere except areas where they are important food for something else - as long as the exception isn't my yard.

Raee, that made me think of something else. A really effective mouse/rat/snake repellant. Nothing works. The mint thing to repel mice is a joke, as is sulphur or anything else for snakes. Not even a good cat keeps them away. I hate hate hate hate hate, rodents and snakes.

They are being tested in my city, but I would like within 10 years to see self driving cars available to the general public. Program the car and sit back and read a book on long trips. It would be great for senior citizens who otherwise would have to give up their freedom.

A make well pill. That would instantly cure the body of any kind of illnesses. And it would eliminate any excess fat in the body!

Functionthenlook, I don’t know about bathrooms, but in Russia they have surgery’s that clean that way.( I would have loved that when it was my job to clean them.)

A Sheldon Cooper look-alike robot to fold all the clothes, complete with the blue clothes folder accessory! A mouth rinse that actually melts all the plaque between the teeth and under the gums so you don't have to floss. And yes, would love to have a self-cleaning bathroom!

I know this is a Floof post, but take heart all! For years I wished for double-hung windows with roller screens. For years when I mentioned this to people, including window people, they all said it'd never happen, it'd never work. I figured I should become a design specialist and invent it myself. Well, someone beat me to it and they're on the market now!

An automatic kitty litter scooper that actually works. I know they have all sorts of ones out now but they are expensive and reviews are mixed.

Here's a winter one - when it snows it goes everywhere except the roads and walkways. I'd love winter then.

A quiet button that would make everyone else silent when someone is trying to speak to me. A bonus would be an additional feature that would give a light electrical shock to those who know better but still rudely yap over us.

Well, I know that they make some sort of sleeve thing for the instant pots. They come in pink. I found them on etsy. But it's just not the same.

There is also a lady on etsy who takes regular appliances and paints then with high heat enamel paint to make them pink. But her prices are OUTRAGEOUS. 90 dollars for a can opener? 250 for a toaster oven? What?!??!

It is outrageous. But it tells me there are people really loving pink if she has a business going. That means there is hope for a pink instant pot being produced.

Raye, as someone who lives with and loves an 18 wheeler driver, and someone who works with lots and lots of them, I can confidently say that they also wish for a separate roadway!

Boy! I'd be first in line to buy something like that! As long as it didn't affect natural aromas like those from fresh flowers, roses, hyacinths, etc.!

Not an invention per se, but an improvement: I would love for separate roads for cyclists all over town. To do it all over the country (as I found in the Netherlands) is unrealistic, I know, as is retrofitting into an existing street grid. But I would ride my bike to the store, and for errands, if I didn't have to be on busy streets with cars, trucks and buses.

Besides a fire proof house, I would love to have a transporter (as seen on Star Trek). It would be beyond cool to be able to materialize anywhere on the planet at a moment's notice.

I'm with Iris on this one, a robot that pulls weeds. I'm going to take it a little further, and make it a yard robot that reads my mind and does exactly whatever needs doing the exact same way I would do it. :)

First thing is I would love an automatic car that drives us and flies as needed. So that if there were people in the way in every direction the car would fly over all and not hit anyone! Or phase through it if we want to get even more science fictiony.

I would also want something that washes and sorts all of the recycling into the right containers.

I also want a matter reorganizer. if something is needed to be made it just makes it out of old material. Then just fixes the broken thing.

For the big picture I would like something that eats and automatically sucks up all the plastics and microplastics in the world and disposes of them in a safe and useful way. Then it breaks them down with bacteria or organizes them into something else with zero pollution problems or or energy problems or cost problems.
