Normal For Austin's country wide at least with the older ones. Its more their breeding like a good old alba. They need time to establish before showing what they can do. Great sleuthing! I'm also in Toronto, and have found people selling extra Turface on Kijiji from time to time. I wish the Orchiata was cheaper. The west coast distributor sells 40L bags for $33.05. I imagine it is quite expensive to ship it out here. Not sure where they get their douglas fir bark from; it also looks pretty suitable if a bulk source could be had. I tried a bag of that All-Treat Canada Red pine bark mulch from Home Hardware recently. Not a fan. It's shredded, with long, thin particles. Also lots of sapwood.

Someone must know. I've had great luck recently ordering from Canada (Corn Hill) so it should work in reverse, in theory, unless our recent troubles have messed it up.
