It depends on your local market ... check Craigslist and some antique stores. Cleaning is easy: Clean it carefully ... Dust it, then use mild soap and water on a soft cloth to remove water-soluble crud. Then shift to mineral spirits and 0000 steel wool, cleaning gently to get the oil-based hand grime and such off. Stop and evaluate. Often that's all you need to do, or you find that the top needs finish removal and a new coat of something. If you have a flaky, scaly finish, that's probably old wax buildup. Remove it with a blend of lacquer thinner and denatured alcohol (I use 50/50). Apply liberally to a small area, let it soften a few moments, then gently rub off the crud with the steel wool. Repeat until clean. Do this outside, with gloves because the fumes are vile and flammable.

I think this is ART furniture and that's a CRAZY price NM is selling it for. It should be under 3000

Thank you to everyone! You input here (and in the antique forum) have helped so much. I am still not sure who to have look at it locally (northern IN right on the MI border). Initially I was thinking it was made of oak, but looking further, I may have been off. It's definitely a grainy wood. I will look again and try to get a good pic of the grain and the bed (which is my favorite piece). Hearing what I have so far, I feel like this set is way more substantial than what I had intended...a bedroom set with a sturdy dresser and bigger bed for my 12 year old (next week at least). He likes it, but he really just likes the thought of a bigger bed. I think I'd rather try to find a buyer who can appreciate, love, and care for this set like it deserves and use the money to get my son a set he also loves. I have no idea where to start in terms of selling, asking price, etc. I guess that is the next hurdle. Thanks again everyone! Jackie

Contact a Natuzzi dealer and they can probably help. In my experience even the cheapest Natuzzi is leather anywhere your body touches so maybe if it was a cheap sofa the back if all one piece will be vinyl for sure .
