Good idea, Vicki. As for handwriting on something like that, its supposed to look "cute" and not perfect. Just simple printing, like in those old kindergarten books is what I'd go for. Pull up some garden signs and look how they are lettered. That's what I do. I've got a plan to make a sign for my (faux) frog pond, and some little signs with froggy sayings on them. I've got so many frogs in the yard that I figured I'd round them up and put them in one little area of their own. The tomato cans sound just perfect in size and your plan for the stake in them. hugs, Karen

yes the fur in the groin can cause problems, usually groomers just shave it off and around the butt too. that hair can get matted, hide fleas, catch urine and around the butt poop can get caught in the fur so it's much cleaner to not have it. something is irritating her, it could be a flea bite or other skin irritation that you cant see, or it could be blocked glands and just because her glands have never blocked up before doesnt mean it wont happen. If she had poop stuck to her butt she may just need a wash back there.

I remember a crazy customer problem at a fast food hamburger place. The person was ordering from her car, and she asked for a hamburger that their competitor sells, and so the clerk explained that they don't have whatever but did she want a cheeseburger. The clerk never explained that she was asking for something another chain sells. Anyhow, the customer calls the police and reports the burger chain and clerk as refusing to sell her a particular hamburger. It is so funny--she is so furious and stupid.
