Clump Shots Plus A Few Other Plants
Comments (13)These pictures are just delightful. I love clump shots because I really feel that daylilies look their prettiest when blooming all together.....even plain-looking daylilies have a special 'glow' about them when viewed as a clump blooming away in the garden. It's easy to love pretty faces but the figure is important too....LOL. You have some very pretty ones here. I like that clump shot of the yellow NOID. (I have a couple yellow NOIDs myself and mine are fragrant too so I wonder if yellows tend to be more fragrant?). I like the form of your yellow too. Then of course Chance Encounter is always so photogenic and just the loveliest shade of pink so who could resist that one? And lucky you to have that Carpenter seedling 'Ruby'! That is so eye-catching and quite frankly I'm jealous because it's not something I can ever order...boohoo. The others are lovely and so enjoyable to see. I'm glad to see Green Mystique because I planted one last fall and haven't seen it in person yet. Celeste...See MoreClump Shots and Multiples
Comments (15)Chris - You and I have the same view on clump shots. LOL Even so, I really enjoyed seeing your bed shots. The bee balm is really doing well there! My favorite daylilies of these are Please Say Yes and Lord Chamberlain. I love the bicolors and bitones, so I may add Please Say Yes at some point - especially since I have more planting room now that two trees are gone. Debra...See MoreClump Shots Anyone?
Comments (17)I am shocked that someone dug your daylily, although I hear it happens. At least they left half of it, though. Makes you wonder who it could be though. I always love your Pink Gingham and it just looks spectacular in that photo. Hearts of Fire looks gorgeous too. Beautiful flowers on Water drops & Cosmic Kaleidoscope, I love that patterned look. About Mole Relief, I always hesitate to use poisons with my cats, do you mean this would be ok? I don't seem to have trouble with voles but have shrews and lots of moles. The cats catch a lot of moles and voles, & I have a trap I've used in the past, but seems like there are huge numbers this year....See MoreSome Clump Shots, FFOs, and FFE
Comments (11)Little Light of Mine is so massive! Is it just one clump? Or did you divide it and plant mini clumps together? It definitely wins the prize for most amazing clump. All the other clumps are gorgeous, especially Purple Honey Creeper and Shake the Mountains. Your pink prettiness clump is fabulous, but I don't think the name is Visual Appeal. I like your apricot Nectar of the Gods too! Debra...See Moreshive
