Comments (18)Thank you jrb I had a wonderful day!. Yesterday I baked my carrot cake and today shamelessly I ate three pieces. One piece even had gluten-free ice cream on it which I can tolerate. yum. We had to do a few errands Like I had to drop dogs off and pick another dog up for overnight pet sitting. Of course that means I did lots of dog walking which is a favourite activity. Daughter, who spent about 20 years in Arizona, gave me this large mug - you can see the state name in large, raised letters thereon. It worked well for quite a long time, but after a quick visit to the floor ... it's been rather hard to handle ... but I persist. 7 years agolast modified: 7 years agoA stand of Siberian Iris that the lady who sold us this property said was planted by her Mother. Her Mother died in 1928.

Not sure what this is. It was technically a weed that popped up in my yard. It sort of looks like a wild iris.
7 years agoIt is a stunning morning here today. Not a cloud in the sky, 67º and a little breeze!
This first batch of iris doubled from last year. Mother Nature is amazing!!
