Survivor Finale Tonight!!!
Comments (32)Ditto Flamey. Well said. The jury voted their emotions instead of for the person who actually played the game. Outwit, Outplay and Outlast! Russell did all it all. It's supposed to be Survivor not Prom King or Queen Eric is a complete tool He is supposed to ask questions.Instead when Natatlie was too dumb to even speak up for her self he decided to take on the role of campaign manager and give a big speech n her behalf. He played the game for her. She couldn't even manage that. I liked Jaison at first but as the weeks wore on he turned out to be a big crybaby. from playing the race card at TC to his whining last night about how they OMG lied in the game. What a hypocrite! He is studying to be a lawyer so the can lie for the rest of his life to make his living. Natalie couldn't even defend herself at the final TC. I almost peed my pants when she said she chose to let Russell take the heat for her play. He chose her! She didn't choose him! He could have eliminated her at any time. I knew Natalie had won when they had her all dolled up for the reunion show. Dumb, blond,Barbie takes it all. ICK At least the other girls who won on their looks previously could speak for themselves and fought to win in front of the jury. She will be forever known as the girl who won a million for doing nothing. Russell will always be remembered as the true Sole Survivor of this game and the viewers confirmed that. As for Shambo? She may have a fugly hairdo and be a bit rough around the edges but she's a class act. She didn't whine about being voted off and she gave Russell the respect due for being the best player as he deserved....See MoreSurvivor finale tonight
Comments (20)As to Carolyn, we don't know if she has something going on in real life that made her unhappy. She looked really stressed before they read the votes in a way she didn't during the season. And I'm sure she thought she had a good chance of winning--we all did--and she's not the type who's used to failing. I'm willing to cut her some slack. Re Mike and the check, I thought he gave it to his mom like a good boy who knew it was important and thought he might lose it. "Here, Mom, will you put this in your purse for me?" It's nearly impossible to win without help, so kudos to Mike for pulling it off, and yes, he deserved it. OTOH, one of my all time favorite players is Sandra, who played calm and sneaky. :) Did you all notice an extra twinkle and dimple from Jeff when he took down the blowhards? Show of hands, "Mike would have won either way." "Here's the raw footage." I think both Rodney and Dan are the same kind of self deluding egotist who don't even hear what they're saying themselves, let alone what anyone around them says. I really do think Dan thought he was playing the dozens with that yo' mama reference, but kind of unaware that the conversation about yo' mama jokes took place hours (days?) earlier. Or maybe even after, if they called him on it. It was all just going on in his head with no regard for what was going on around him. I looked it up: Shirin is a Yahoo executive. I'm sure she's well compensated, but the likelihood is that she and every other employee in the tech firm she was working for (I don't know if it was Yahoo at the time), made a million, rather than she, on her own, did, unless she designed and sold an app or something. I know she was on another reality show, but I doubt she would have accumulated a million in pay from that. What I find interesting is that she said Tyler was one of the worst of the misogynists. I'd forgotten the little they showed of that....See MoreSurvivor Finale tonight!
Comments (36)Ken seemed subdued last night. I wonder if he was in shock to find out David didn't vote for him. And why didn't he?? I don't think Adam played the sick mom card. He kept that secret for 39 days and imagine how tough that must have been, especially after learning at the family visit that her last hope for treatment failed. He only talked about it to answer Jay's question, and that opened the flood gates. We don't know if he would have brought it up otherwise, unless he planned all along to use it at tribal. Hannah tried her best to make Adam look insignificant to her gameplay. Maybe that turned off the jury as they know Hannah for who she is and not for what she tried to make them believe about her. Ken got strong at the end in challenges but the jury didn't witness how hard he fought so maybe it was too little too late. Then Bret gave the credit to Adam for convincing Ken to vote out David! That hadda hurt! Great season and now retreads. Ugh. Only interested in watching Ozzy, Tai, and Michaela. I saw Malcolm in the previews....See MoreSurvivor Finale tonight!
Comments (70)"I would like to see it get back to how it was in the beginning. " Nooooooooooooooooooo. Remember when they ate ALL that gross stuff in food challenges? It was awful!!!!!! The dead bird that was almost ready to hatch....oh...and the BIG bug larvae.....nasty.....nasty.....nasty! No one should be falling face first into a fire and have to have skin grafts on his hands. I think it was too much to ask that people hurt themselves for a show. Now they have bandaids....did you notice? They don't show every little boo boo and owie. Much better....See More- 7 years ago
