It doesn't seem fair to have an Edge player come back and win it all. They didn't survive the tribal council. They didn't participate in challenges. They didn't have to play a social game. They didn't have to form and break alliances. There were no tough decisions to be made. So I don't see the jury voting for an Edge player to become the sole survivor.

I agree in many ways, but look how they have bonded. Heck, even annoying Reem has made allies! But I think that the producers would have spent more time on the exiled players if one were to become a winner, I think only Aubrey has had much airtime.

ugh not Aubry lol. I agree with Toby, they havent had to fight thru it all. If my guy Eric can't come back and win, I feel Devens deserves to win over all of them. I just can't stand the coattail riders. Victoria and Julie don't "deserve" to win. they haven't done crap except throw their votes in with whoever. Lauren is just too much of a freaking crybaby/complainer. I would somehow let the info out to the remaining players that Lauren has an idol. Definitely valuable info for whomever comes back.

I can't believe it's the last episode already. The seasons keep getting shorter.

None of the last girls left have done anything to deserve to even make it to the final 3 let alone win! I really hate when the strongest get voted out, because they're strong and can win... and the people who do nothing except band together to vote them out make it to the end. Frustrating!

Devens would have my vote - even against Joe at this point because he has played a VERY good game. It's not Joe's fault he got voted out for being such a good competitor.

So... my pick is Devens and then Joe... but if either win I'd be happy. I'm not sure I can say that about any of the other players. And I still don't even know all their names. That says a lot.

Very exciting! Never saw that coming! Can't wait to see who wins.

I'm feeling a little ambivalent about the outcome, and not too sure how I feel about next season. lol But I'll be there!

This is the first time ever I have turned Survivor off early. Only 30 minutes, but first time ever. While I was ok with the winner because of the fire challenge, I still wanted Devens to win. I would expect to see him back on Survivor due to his popularity, but maybe he has enough notoriety now to get job offers in a bigger market than Macon. I was so happy Gavin didn't win. There was something (I can't put my finger on it) that made me despise that man. I think he seemed really smug, I don't know.

Fantastic ending! Really happy to see making fire decide who wins. Atfer "that" I was on board with who won 100%!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to skip over parts to get to the end because I was falling asleep! Not that the show was boring, I was just tired! lol

Of the final 3, Chris was the only one that deserved to win. I was so disappointed Devens didn't get to the end. But he definitely has upped his star power and I have no doubt he'll be getting some good job offers.

Happy to hear Joe is up for returning at some point! I think when they do returnees, they need for all of them to be returnees. Throwing a few in here in there just puts a target on their back immediately.

And it was nice to see the jury cleaned up after their final challenge and happy for them that they got to eat! lol

Edge of Extinction was a really bad concept. I didn't remember anything about Chris before he was voted out and went to the Edge. Why should we care if he won Survivor when we didn't watch any of his game play for 34 days?

After Devens lost the fire-making challenge, I didn't care who won. I wasn't even interested in hearing what they had to say at the final tribal. If Chris really wanted to show what a deserving player he was, he'd have chosen Gavin and Julie to make fire, which would have sent the weakest player home (Julie got no votes so she wasn't a threat).

I never can remember to watch, but going to try really hard next time...in the fall. Boston Rob is going to be involved, not as a player....but advisor or something, and I always liked him.

I wish during the reunion show Jeff would have polled the jury to see how many would have voted for Devens had he been in the final three. I hope Survivor doesn't do an Edge of Extinction type game play ever again. It just didn't seem fair to the players who were "playing" 24/7 back at camp. I know life wasn't easy on Extinction, but it doesn't compare. I'm glad Devens was awarded the Sia award, he so deserved it!

Sleeperblues, I agree with you about Gavin, there something that bugged me about him, can't quite figure it out.

I haven't watched for several years, but find the comments about Aubry interesting. My DS graduated from Phillips Exeter Academy with her in 2004. The Exeter Bulletin that just came out had an article written by her.

Jeff said the edge of extinction was an experiment... I hope they don't think it was a successful one! Yes, all but 2 of voted out players opted to stay but I think most people would anyhow. I hope they don't judge the "success" of this stupid concept on that and ever repeat it!

If they ever do it again, I hope they bring back the player long before they're close to the final four. They need some time to prove their worth.

I also hope if they ever repeat Edge that they give them some challenges against one another and whittle it down to a smaller number before letting them vie to get back on the tribe.

And show us more of them, it was like blank time, we hardly ever saw the thrown-outs and it made the winner seem less deserving. Although he was much more deserving than the two he sat at final tribal with.

The girls had the perfect opportunity to vote Gavin out a few weeks ago, I couldn't figure out why they didn't take it.

So sorry Devens didn't make it to the final, I do hope we see him again and I agree, it should be a season with all returnees, they really don't have a fair chance when it's just a couple.

Prove their worth? It's a TV game show. What could anyone possibly "prove" that matters?

I liked the extended jury and I hope they keep that, And the Q&A at the last TC was the best I've seen.
