Luxury Vinyl Plank Flooring

Please help!!! I have been looking for a good vinyl flooring to match grey walls. I found an inspirational picture but I really need help finding an amazing color without going above 3.00 a square feet. I am very open to suggestion, I just want our first home to look nice.

I provided a link that provides a lot of information on LVT flooring.

I recently purchased LVT for my home. I could not find the quality and style that I wanted for the price point you are looking for, but I chose something that does not require underlayment, is easy to self install, does not shrink or expand based on temperature and is water proof.

I did find that the price per sf. varied greatly from one store to another even in the same chain (more than $3.00/sf variance). I found the same flooring at 3 different chains sold under different names.

Getting the best deal requires a good amount of comparison shopping.

It is very popular flooring category for sure. The price is from $3 to 7/sqft depending on the brand and thickness. Installation is from $2 to 4/sqft. on top of the material costs. LVP can be installed on the stairs. See below picture of Elegance Plyquet Luxe installed.

Is this a build or a remodel ? What is the style in your home? Are you modern, or more traditional. There's no denying a trend to paler floors. Also wider and longer planks.........but that is hardly a hard and fast idea. What you need to do? Go shopping. And if this is remodel, and you already have a hardwood elsewhere? You repeat it : ) Or you refinish it and add to it. You aren't giving us anything to go on for more advice beyond colors.

Unless you are flipping a property... get what you want. In my experience, the LVP debate becomes a bit less important in upper price ranges. When paying 3+ million for a home you have the money to get a new floor. So, as long as the existing floor is attractive buyers are not going to care as much. We sold a property on Longboat Key not long ago and I would not have wanted engineered wood flooring (it was beachfront and had a regular helping of wet without flooding). We actually had terrazzo floors but if I still owned and used the property I would cover them with LVP... I know that is a sin, but I like going barefoot in my house and no one likes hopping out of bed onto cold floors.

I just put in t he following flooring throughout a house that I purchased and remodeled as a rental property, it looks great, gray wash, if found it for $1.47/sq foot.

Waterproof and 50 year warranty, I did lay underlayment.
