Hi, Jessie - The measurements for the LNT stools are: Seat - 9 x 17 1/2; Legs (widest part) - 14 1/2 x 17. If these are too big for you, there are similar ones at Ballard that are smaller and more squarish. I have linked those below. Well, thanks for asking about my RH Brightwood pendants. They are hung and look great, but they still don't have shades. You remember that I had gotten enclosed bell shades from Schoolhouse Electric in the 2.25 fitter size? (I wanted the enclosed shades because I was worried about the glare from exposed bulbs, since I was hanging them high above the table. RH doesn't have enclosed shades that small.) Trying to be environmentally conscious, I ordered the fixtures with the GU24 socket and 24W bulb, but did not think it through or do my research. As it turns out, I have yet to find a GU24 bulb that fits into the shade. (In fact, you have to go down to an 18W to even get a shade that will fit into a 2.25 GU24 socket, never mind the shade. RH is changing their site to not allow you to select GU24 in 2.25 fitter size with a 24W bulb.) I understand there are 13W and 9W bulbs out there, but I hate to order them without knowing the dimensions because they have mercury in them and are difficult to dispose of if they don't work, and with shipping returning them is a hassle and expensive. And these bulbs are so new that I am not finding them IRL. Plus, I am now also reading that the bulbs may not be safe with an enclosed shade! Anyway, I will keep you posted... Hello Friend! Thank you for the call-out: I would've hated to miss this thread. Did the Festival affect you? I bet you avoided Yorkville like the plague! Too many photogs snapping your photo, asking about your kitchen .... auchmedden, ci_lantro and malhgold all said exactly what I was thinking -- I still love (and vastly prefer) the "original" stool (the brown leather with chrome legs), and their shape echoes your Parsons armchairs without being matchy-matchy / twee. My concern (based on my imagination) about white stools is that it would make your space look a bit like X, Y, X, Y, X, Y -- you know, white, brown, white, brown, white, brown. I really like the way the white is the ultimate wall, highlighted by your to-be white-ish grey Parsons chairs, picked up again by the lighter color of your family room sofa. The eye travels around your great room (the combined family room and kitchen) without taking an extra (and in my mind, unnecessary) stop at the white stools which would, in my opinion, just detract (detract from the beautiful stained island, detract from those magnificent pendants [because instead of going up, the eye would go down to the white stools], detract from the overall vision your kitchen is). Now I'm not in your real room, and I'm not going to live there (although it's so beautiful I'd love to!), so clearly everything I've written is worthless in light of what you and your husband think. Oh wait, I do want to add that I think with the dark brown stool the chrome legs are actually necessary in addition to being quite pretty -- they help keep the eye moving, they help subtly differentiate the stools from the island, and they keep the subtle modern touch going (without screaming LOOK AT ME! I'M MODERN!). I am really excited for you -- you have come so far, and I'll be better about checking for your threads when I visit this forum! xo

I've had it since July. Yes, I do like the side spray. It works well. I like the soap dispenser, too. One thing I really like about the faucet is the finish -- doesn't get all water or soap spotty; stays nice looking. The only thing that took a little getting used to with the whole D set up is not having the center drain, so the faucet doesn't directly pour into it. So when I want to rinse the drain, I have to spray it. Not a problem, just something new. Good luck with your decisions! Atridh -- I can't find my receipt for the stools to get the name but I can stop by the store this week and ask for you -- it's nearby so I'll check for you while doing errands as soon as I can!

I have been looking and looking online. I wanted something cheap as I've already exhausted my budget. I tried out the ones at Ikea and they were lacking in quality. We went to a local store to just try out different ones and ended up ordering from them. It was more than I wanted to spend, but they are such great quality that I couldn't resist. I'm happy with our choice. We got to choose the finish and fabric and they are really sturdy and comfortable and even LOOK better quality than the cheap ones I was looking at online. We are lucky to have this store that all they sell is chairs and barstools, but I guess what I'm saying is to go out and try some. My husband wanted no back, I wanted a back and no swivel because I was afraid of the back banging into the counter. We ended up with a padded back with a swivel.
