Anyone Sell on Facebook?
Comments (28)I've only sold one thing on market place. That was a car and it went off with no problems. I've heard there are a few of scams going on with any of the sell/buy sites. I had one lady that was leary of me when I wanted to purchase her 2 matching 1950s twin headboards for a bedroom set i already had. I've been looking and these headboards were a perfect match. She lived an hour away in the next state and I had to convince her that i was legit. It was nice weather and a beautiful day for a drive anyway. A few years back there was this lady on local FB groups that would cry poverty wanting kids items posted for sale for free or way below asking. Stating her little kids really wanted the item and gave a big sob story. She didn't even live close to the area. If you didn't budge on the price she would set up a pick up date and time then ghost you, just because she was a jerk. The items were never intended for her kids. She had an ongoing garage sale every weekend selling the items she got for free or cheap. She was called out and was banded from the local groups....See MoreFacebook marketplace
Comments (16)I thought if I donated it that it would get discarded because nobody would know what it was. I offer this kind of thing on the Buy Nothing group. Or if it's something so nice I really don't want to see it festering in a goodwill. It's also good for things you can't donate -- like roller shades, or an open box of expensive laundry detergent that I didn't like. The Buy Nothing group is restricted to your neighborhood. I only have to sift through a few takers, and I choose one and arrange a "porch pick up", where they just come and get it w/o any contact (I know it's a little antisocial but whatever). It's way more convenient than trying to sell something....See MoreThe Best Backpage Alternatives for Connecting Buyers and Selle

Comments (20)… and then I freaked out and canceled the order 🤦♀️. Then I ordered this fixture in both black and antique brass to compare. My island is 87 inches in length and this fixture is 50 inches. I think that would work right? I have never been so bananas and indecisive on a project before 🙄. Thanks again for following along and helping me on this kitchen update everyone!...See Morejewels_ks
