Here is a little bit darker. Looks good. If you open your shutters you would get more light in your room, cos you have a good size window.

We have Brazilian Cherry floors in our living room and dining room. They show every dog hair and speck of dust. Had I realized that, I would have gone with a lighter color - even though I love the look of the BC.

And lighter color

A lighter color floor will show less pet hair, dirt and scratches than a darker floor.

I like #1 and #2, these ones go good with your furniture and wall color.

Thank you I was thinking lighter too, due to having pets and teens running in and out the house. My husband likes the darker. Good point on the scratches for the darker color. @ celerygirl I like the 1 and 2 also. Do you know the colors and maker of those?

I was thinking of going to Ombre Gray Oak, its made from Nucore. It looks light but not sure how it would look once laid down

From what I see on Wayfair, that flooring has an 8 mil wear layer which is not good. I wouldn’t consider anything less than a 12 mil for a residential floor. I just ordered SuperCORE SPC flooring with a 20 mil wear layer from WeShipFloors.com for a little more per square foot and free shipping. The planks are 7”X60” and have a lifetime residential warranty. The website is definitely worth a look because you will certainly get more for your money with their flooring. A thread here on Houzz has a lot of info on SuperCORE and SPC flooring (Adura Max versus Coretec). You might also Google-SPC versus WPC-which explains the differences between stone polymer core flooring and wood polymer core flooring and why SPC is the better buy.
