Comments (9)What is your vanity style and color? Your house seems pretty transitional so almost anything goes. You could play it safe with either square or rectangle white subway tiles they are easy to work with and easy on budget. You could use the floor tiles in the tub area as well. There are also many faux marble porcelain tiles that are nice these days too. Not as pretty as the real thing but no maintance. Comments (5)As one who thinks the shower pan should be installed first and followed by shower walls? I don't like the entire concept and just be prepared for leaks. Maybe it's time to do a bath in the tones you favor, and not peck at lipstick solutions.There are plenty of dark /light/warm/cool porcelain tiles. Comments (1)Yes, it's common for tile companies to include maybe 4 or 5 variegated versions of a design within the same set. So, the tile layer just needs to make sure that it looks find when he/she lays them since you'll have a choice of 4 or 5 for the repeat. That doesn't appear to be an extraordinary design. Check out Happy Floors, Porcelanosa, or Crossville for some excellent quality tile with similar designs if you have the budget.
