Moduleo Embellish vs Coretec vs ?
Comments (1)I installed Coretec Plus 18x24 tile throughout my house, including eating area next to sliding doors to backyard. I have 2 teens and babysit 2 children under 6. I also have a miniature Schnauzer whose beard drips water. The Antique Marble hides much and looks good even when I know it's time to clean. I have an unfinished basement and crawl space under the main floor. Installers layed down the appropriate underlayment. I also voted out real wood (high maintenance, hard) and tile (hate grout, cold, hard). I looked at many types of vinyl flooring. Ultimately I went with pattern, color, and size that I liked, which turned out to be Coretec Plus....See MoreCoretec One vs Pro: Favorite color is only in Coretec One
Comments (3)You can add a cork underlayment to the Coretec One series. If it's just you and your dog you should be fine. If you had 2 or more additional people in the house I would push you towards one of the better lines....See MoreCoretec Cairo Oak VS Calypso Oak
Comments (110)DONT go with Ciaro Oak here is our experience...We put Cairo Oak by Coretec in out new build home from flooring liquidators in late 2021. We have 4 kids ages 9-1 and thought a LVP would be the most practical way to go. While I still agree LVP is great with kids this flooring is AWFUL! The color Cairo oak specifically eats anything it touches. Its sadly in our whole main floor so we are on it most of the day. This flooring makes holes in socks and in the knees of pants in literally two seconds. It has become quite costly replacing pants and sock for four kids. It is specifically this flooring. We have had other LVP flooring in past homes with kids and did not experience this. I tried reaching out to Coretec and got a careless response. It is very upsetting to spend such a large amount of money on flooring for a well known brand only to get a crappy quality in return. If you are looking at Cairo Oak from Coretec..keep looking. I wouldn't even recommend the brand after the way they handled their customer service....See MoreManila Oak vs Calypso Oak COREtec vinyl plank flooring
Comments (3)I am having the same dilemna! We have to replace the flooring in our tiny vacation rental condo. I definitely want Coretec, but I'm having a hard time deciding between these two. I love the simplicity and elegance of the Calypso Oak, but worry that it will turn out too light. The Manila has such beautiful depth, but I'm afraid it might pull too much orange. All the photos of installed Calypso give the caveat that it is much lighter in reality. Too bad, because I love the way it looks in pics. I am also worried that Manila might be a bit busy. We bought our condo furnished and the sofa is staying. It is a queen sleeper, but it is patterned and in a darker color. Unfortunately I can't buy a box and try them both out since we have to have the installation done in a couple of weeks in between renters and we won't be there until the actual work begins. Also, the unit is pet friendly and I worry that paw prints might show up more easily in between housekeeping. Wish I could find something inbetween these two colors....See More- 3 years agolast modified: 3 years ago
