Tile to go with Cambria Minera countertop? Calacatta? (Photos!)
Comments (3)I hope my thread isn't confusing. For a long, narrow bath: Cabinets (arrived) are white, traditional, very long, 18" depth. Paint will be a coordinating color of white or maybe even a metallic. (I was planning an all white room but am smitten with this brand new countertop.) I like Cambria Minera and I also like Calacatta tile floors. Cambria Minera countertop color (see photos above) is warm and matches Calacatta and definitely does not look good with Carrara. Do you think Cambria Minera countertop would work with Calacatta tile floors? (If not, what should I look for tile-wise?) Thanks....See MoreCountertop decisions. Cambria Whitney - any pics?
Comments (2)Hi ninha - I am still wavering some... but think I'm going with carrara marble in one of the baths rather than the Whitney. Not sure about the other bath. (My house isn't built yet but I have to nail all my choices down immediately. :) I too couldn't find any pictures. Well, one but you couldn't really see the countertop. I ordered the 15x15 sample from Cambria (or is it 12x12? Whichever...) and I really like it. The longer I've had it the more it has grown on me. It's funny but I'm actually a little sad thinking I'm not going to be using it, which makes me think I should! Sorry I can't be more help. As you can see I didn't get any responses to the thread asking for pics so I'm assuming no one has used it. Which is odd because I've been told it's very popular right now....See MorePaint color suggestions with Cambria Summerhill countertops

Comments (8)it really does not look white.. best thing to do is get the sample card of the mapei grout colors..prop the tile up and note the white to off white to slightly bisque grout colors. I am not sure that is a stark white tile.....even if it's white... there is a range when it comes to white.....it may be ivory or a warmer white is what you have ...there are a few shades of grout in that family-slightly off white. Just dont go high contrast and I think it'll work. the tile plays up some of the swirl pattern in the counter which is what I like about it all....See Morekjoy1
