AAack! I am a forty something who finally gave in to the low rise fad.Unfortunately I am unable to find clothing in the women's dept. in any size under a four.The fours are really the old sevens of yesteryear with a new label for all those fatty's that want to believe they have gained no weight in the the last ten years.I wear a size two,and finding a jean that is anything close to a fit is impossible unless I enter a juniors dept.The jeans I have learned to live with.This years new challenge is finding shorts my size that have enough fabric in them to cover the tops of my legs a little bit.The future looks bleak.I was in a framing shop and the owner had on short shorts and she is a good fifteen years older than I,and seems to be conservative in every other way,so I am guessing the fashion faux pas is another one of necessity since she was smaller than I.

Look how sweet those are! You aren't just crafty, you're very talented. I couldn't cut a round hole in a piece of wood to save my life. LOL Love the little squirrels on top. Do you have a problem with mosaic on wood outdoors? I've always heard it cracks apart from the expand and contract of the wood through the seasons.

Too funny Kswl! All solids? I've never really thought about that but I wear a ton of prints, florals, stripes, etc. I do love my solids to wear my scarves with. I love scarves and wear them often in cooler weather. I have a couple of gauzy ones I will wear in spring/summer. If I don't have a scarf on I will more than likely have on a funky necklace. One thing I will note, I do not wear black up against my face. Too stark and washes me out. I do not wear yellows, oranges (I HATE orange but love a pinky coral), browns, mossy greens, etc. (earth tones) other than some shades of brown pants. Thankfully those colors do not look good on me. I don't use them in our home either! Lynn, I had my colors done years ago and I am a winter. I don't think black is drab at all. It's fashionable! But of course, it makes a difference what you wear with your black.

I don't dress up for Halloween, but we do get over 70 kids come to the door. I always make treat bags as I dislike kids who try to grab handfuls of candy or complain about what I have. I hand them a bag and comment on their costume. I usually decorate the day of Halloween. Both my daughters still like to go to parties and dress up. They are 26 and 28. Honestly though, since my kids are grown and I really don't know the new young families, I can't say I enjoy distributing the candy. I enjoyed knowing the kids who came to the door. My friends and I would call each other with the "sighting" reports of seeing each others kids.
