Kitchens Design Dilemma Lighting

Finally hanging 3 seeded glass pendants over peninsula. The seeding variations are so different. One is very little seeding, next is medium and the 3rd is more seeded. Not sure I’m going to be happy with the variations. Anyone else had this issue? Also going to match with same glass with table chandelier. Those seemed to match better. Except one was cracked. Trying to get it exchanged. Should I be stressing or just get used to it?

Seeded glass is by definition not uniform. That's the look you're buying. It's like buying hand-crafted and glazed tile that has variations in the color. The variation is what makes it interesting. Obviously, this is your call. If you think it will bug you, return them and get clear glass pendants.

If you really like the pendants you could always change the glass by taking them to a local glass shop.

I love your choices I vote yes to the bathroom fixture and to your first choice for the back entryway. I have a post here about hallway lighting and I have also posted the same overstock lantern as a consideration! i agree. plus the glass will give the illusion that they are hardly there, so they will not over power the kitchen. Perhaps your designer is suggesting another part of your kitchen be the center piece. i read several places that glass pendents will allow for this. Best of luck. in the middle of a kitchen design myself so understand all the decisions involved.

Thanks for your input. I’m hung the 3 single pendants and will adjust to the variation. Swapped one out from the chandelier. Now I just have to exchange the chandelier since one globe was cracked. Also I hung the middle one higher. I think I like it. Pardon the mess. Works in progress.
