This is a case of always discovering something new to learn.
This morning while reading the paper I noticed that the writer used a lot of hyphens and I began to wonder " When does one use the hyphen ? "
Of course I googled and found that words are hyphenated if they are before the noun.
Okay.
Then I began to wonder where we draw the line at which actual words require hyphens.
We all learned in elementary school about those broken words that need a hyphen when they wrap around to the next line and that was pretty much as far as I went thinking about the lowly hyphen.
