do these look like anyone else's Taj Mahal quartzite?
Comments (11)Do you have paperwork from your order for the counter tops? Since there is both a quartzite (natural stone) and a quartz (manufactured product) named Taj Mahal, it appears that is this is not what you thought you were ordering. When you say that you didn't pick your stone, and that it was fabricated, it seems that you got the quartz, not the quartzite that you may have seen photos of online. Comments (13)You don't have to stick to one finish for all those things. I have TM and my faucets are a brushed steel, my pendant light is oil rubbed bronze and my pulls/knobs are hand forged bronze with patina. It all works. The pulls/knobs tie into a 48" hood with the same finish. The faucets tie into the stainless sinks and the stainless of the appliances. The pendant ties into the other light in the house and the hardware throughout the house....See MoreTaj Mahal Quartzite questions!
Comments (16)Gcubed comment is a wise one. It's best to get your all your materials and lighting in there first. Then you can test your sample backsplash tiles. We completed the entire, whole house remodel in October 2018, but the kitchen basksplash wasn't installed til Feb 2019. Meanwhile lots of people enjoyed the house. It's not a big deal to wait on the backspalsh. Just have your contractor paint the wall so it's protected from water, warn you family to be a little more careful about water, and you will give yourself time to pick the perfect backsplash....See MoreTaj Mahal Quartzite - Opinions on our Counter Top Selection?
Comments (5)Wow the black and soft white w the Taj is going to look amaaaazinggg!! I use black as accents in the kitchen as my center island is a deep Tuscany green and cabs are White Duck. I racked my brains for months looking for backsplash and then I remembered in one of my bathrooms I used this oyster color very elongated subway tile with a soft wave. Went out to my storage to get a few pieces and laid it on there and it was perfect. It was this very soft and neutral greige color. If he’ll go back through my old post you should see pictures of my cabinets Taj Mahal and backsplash as I just cannot remember at this time. after the fact I wish I would’ve brought the Taj all the way up the wall but I’m glad now how it all turned out. So exciting for you in this phase-Good luck!...See MoreDevix Kitchens
