Houzz Pop up bar

This just started. On my iPad...Everytime I swipe up to read more about an article, or to view a picture this irritating pop up bar at the bottom of the screen containing Houzz careers, corporate, professional tags...shows up for a few seconds, then disappears and in a few seconds there it is again. it is diustracting to say the least. Help.

The issue seems to have resolved. Not using chrome or app.

Are other folks seeing 'Related Discussions' now inserted into the middle of the threads (ACKKKKK)? Annoying, intrusive, distracting & irritating. [On a laptop using Chrome]

Grubby_Me I am not sure what your point is. People are not whining about anything. Ads and especially popups make using the system difficult. People show their appreciation by participating and making the website a success. Thanks for the adblock link. It installed just fine. As to this forgery screen that was popping up on me... I know now that it was one more virus ploy and that if I clicked on either of their two fake buttons I was opening the door for them to download their garbage on my system. I did a system restore back to where I had not clicked on their stupid screen and most of the new programs they had added disappeared from my control panel. Hopefully that has taken care of it.

Up until now, I wasn't getting those pop-ups, but this evening those have been popping up with regularity. The usual "X" is not there, however, there is a phrase (in color) near the center of the panel that says "no thanks". Click on that to close the ad. Its really annoying.

I didn't even know there were popups. I don't use Adblocker or anything like that but maybe Chrome does something about them.

I have been using the "latest" (because Firefox now does automatic updates). It is Firefox Quantum 65.0.2 (64-bit).

I also have Google Chrome Version 72.0.3626.121 (Official Build) (64-bit) on my system, and yes, as of this minute your popup bar does not appear in that message thread in that browser. And it still appears in Firefox.

Interestingly, a popup bar has now appeared in this very thread (as viewed by Firefox).

As before, I am inserting the screen capture as a JPG photo, so you need to click on it.

And yes, that popup does not appear in Chrome. Apparently you guys are serious about we should be using Chrome to view Houzz. However, I prefer Firefox for its superior privacy and security features, and will continue to use Firefox for most of my browsing. I will probably start using Chrome to browse Houzz.

Hi all, That is a related discussions module that was previously on the right side of the page. There was initially an error that made a scroll bar appear in some instances, but that should now be resolved. I've provided your feedback regarding the placement to the team working on this.
