Glitter glue problem
Comments (1)If it is water wash up type paints they can be thinned with water. If they are mineral clean up paints you use thinner. If you add paint thinner to water based paint it makes it do funny....See MoreSandi-what kind of glitter?
Comments (11)Karen, I've used the pale colors of glitter glue for small projects. I like it as it's a lot easier & faster (& less messy) than regular glitter. I have to tell you a funny story. I used several colors of the extra fine glitter yesterday and no matter how hard I try to keep it contained and cleaned up it still appears in some strange places for days afterwards. Well...a little while ago I was busy cutting a tablecloth up to sew napkins and DH thought I should be cooking dinner. Uh, hello...this is SATURDAY. I don't do Saturdays! So, he was irritable & made me irritable. Which was all a trick of his to get pizza which is what he wanted in the first place. So, out the door he went to buy stuff to make a pizza and I noticed right before he went out that he had 2 specks of gold glitter on his face. Did I tell him? Nope! Then he comes come with stuff for a Hawaiian pizza, my fav, and I still don't feel guilty! LOL...See MoreHelp with coating on glass...............
Comments (2)yup, they do call them ivy bowls, they're a buck or so @ at Michaels or AC moore (or rags and riches, or whatever craft outlet you might have) and they could be dusted with anything- they're making glitter spray-paints now, or they could be using the 'bakable' glass paints on the outside, then spraying the inside with spray-glue and glittering the inside... I've pretty much switched over to the 'micro' glitter myself, it's VERY fine (grain of sand or smaller, makes normal glitter look like dandruff by comparision) and it works with any glue or paint (though I haven't tried baking it)...See MorePastel Glitter - one of my favorites!
Comments (3)Thank you! Yes, I am so glad I have it. I am selling on e-Bay one extra plan now. Don't have space for two large plants....See Moreklromers
