Comments (65)First of all, Merry Christmas to all and a big thank you to Kelli. In Kelli's Christmas package there were two things that were not wrapped so I enjoyed them right away and put the other things under the tree - opened them today and loved everything! Kelli sent the cutest Snowman's Garden sign, a Maxine Calendar (her sayings are so funny!), chocolate walnut fudge (yum!), brown sugar & fig shower gel (that sounds kind of "yum" as well...LOL), a lovely book called Country Living Seasons that has holiday ideas, garden information, and crafts (just my kind of book!), and a gift card from Lowe's (you can bet I will visit the garden center once it warms up...) I hope I didn't forget to list anything. There were so many packages - my family kept wondering how many more when I was opening them. Anyway, Kelli, you have been an absolutely fantastic pal all year. I don't even know how to express my thanks for all that you sent. Beth, you are welcome for the gifts I sent. We had a short year together, but it definitely was fun. (...and Jan, if you are still reading the Round Robins, it was fun sending to you as well.) I also want to thank everyone who participated in the Circle this year. So many of you remained for the whole year and were so wonderful in all that you did for your pal. We missed those who had to drop out, but certainly understand that things happen. Enjoy the remainder of the holiday season! Jeanne...See MoreOne more Paulina update
Comments (22)Thank you so much. I am feeling pretty stressed out not knowing. I have not found anything about what she has. Seems unusual. I am not going to continue looking, though, because I think it will be too scary at the moment. My husband just showed me his FB status. I am a little shocked. He wrote that the tests came back normal. I am at a loss for how he did not understand that he did not "get" that the EEG was NOT normal. (He was not with me in the hospital, so I told him over the phone originally.) I had to break the news to him when I read his status. My mom argued with me several times about this today, saying, "Maybe it was just her reflux!" I explained to her that perhaps it was but regardless, her EEG was NOT normal. I do not like this reality, either, but it doesn't change the truth. 4kids and kimberly, thank you for the diet information. I will definitely bring that up. She is 6 months old now, not any solids at all. I also read that sometimes people are vitamin B deficient and that makes a difference, too. So far she has "only" had 2 episodes (1 would not be too big of a deal but 2 is more significant) so I am hoping that will be it, but I guess we will find out more with the next EEG. Thank you all again. You are all very, very comforting....See Moreany Prayer List updates?

Comments (155)I know my posting doesn't matter to anyone, and that's ok. Just wanted to send you a hug and let you know, along with a lot of others, how sorry I am. I could have almost written your posting several years ago. Everything you wrote pretty much fit my DH. He was only 57 when we lost him. He was a workaholic and always put off going to the Dr., etc. When he was finally forced to go, it was too late. He did go through the Radiation, meds, etc., for almost 2 years before he left us. Please, everyone....please....get your DH, brothers, sons, male friends, etc., to have this Medical checkup. It is not just an old man's disease, like some seem to think, either. It is a curable type of cancer if caught early. Saying prayers for Jasdip and family for comfort and coping....and all who have gone through the beating that Cancer does to us. A couple of Widow/Widower sites help me a lot. They are out there, if you need them. They helped me to accept that it doesn't get better...but does get easier with time. Hugs....See Morejojoco
