Best quality slipcovered sofa for less than $2000
Comments (1)Just make sure the salvage along all the seams are either turned under itself or at least overlocked / surged. If not it will start to unravel after the first washing....See MoreHelp me find a great white slipcovered sofa, please!!
Comments (16)Oh I'm anxious to hear what you think of the Miles Talbott washable wonders sofa since that's exactly what I've been considering! I don't know how helpful this is, but, our circa 1990s Michael Thomas sofa bed loveseat is excellent quality. Cosmetically, it looks like crap from 15 year's-worth of being my lab's favorite hangout spot, but the actual frame and cushion construction are the best of all the seating pieces I've ever had, including pieces by Lillian August, Bradington Young (or was it Hancock & Moore? Gotta check on that!) and Norwalk. Hopefully the MT company is still producing upholstery of the same high quality as they did back in the 90s! If they are, you'll be very pleased. :)...See MoreHelp on comfy slipcovered sofa
Comments (14)Judy G, above you mention a bench seat is more comfortable but I wonder about it getting saggy looking and are there any other downsides? I only have had 3 cushion sofas. Also how do you think the Capris brand rates on expense side? I went to their website and they don't list retailers so asked for some with my FL zip code. One more question for a design pro- what do you think of slip covered couches? To me they look a little sloppy but I do like that it can be washed....See MoreWhere to buy quality sofas?
Comments (4)I LOVE the "Dune Sofa" from Maidenhome.com. Tons of fabric choices as well as several different cushion and back options, and made in North Carolina. Great customer service and a great product for the money. You can get nice quality from Furniture Land South if you can find a style you like and a well made brand....See MoreOakville Real Estate
